Rubix Acquires Peter Campbell Sales Ltd

Rubix acquires PCS – a leading specialist supplier of metal cutting tools, services and solutions

17th October 2019 – Rubix, Europe’s largest industrial maintenance products distributor, has acquired Peter Campbell Sales Ltd. Peter Campbell Sales Ltd. (PCS) is a leading technical cutting tool supplier to the UK engineering and manufacturing industries. With sales of £8m in the last twelve months, PCS serves its customers with a comprehensive range of bespoke manufactured solutions and tool regrind services to all major manufacturing sectors and especially to the Oil & Gas, Aerospace & Defence, Automotive and Precision Machining industries. Based in Airdrie, Scotland, and North East England, Rubix customers will benefit from the complimentary regional and industry footprint with that of Matrix Tooling Services – acquired by Rubix in 2018 – which brings with it an extended specialist product offering, including inhouse manufacturing solutions, and technical expertise in industrial vending management. PCS will continue to operate as an independent brand to Brammer Buck & Hickman, and alongside Matrix Tooling Services, will in due course be using the ‘Powered by Rubix’ endorsement brand.
